Crediting

You must always credit the film’s creators. This means that you should include the name of the director, producer and screen writer.

For example, if you include a short film on your website, the credit might read ‘Written and Directed by Luke Jacobs, Produced by Martha Carr’.

It is also a good idea to acknowledge the copyright owner. If copyright in the film is owned by Omega Films, and you have obtained permission from Omega Films to use the film, the credit might look like this:

Written and Directed by Luke Jacobs, Produced by Martha Carr. Copied with permission of Omega Films.
